Windows Vista & Windows 7
updated 2010-07-05

If you don't have a eduroam network secret, you can get it here: https://login.sys.kth.se/peap.html

Windows 7

This seems to work directly just entering username and network secret (maybe a few times). For manual setup, see below.
It might be necessary to check the configuration and follow the setup as mentioned in point 5 in section "Windows Vista & Windows 7" below.

Windows Vista & Windows 7

Instructions for standard microsoft driver
  1. Open "Network and Sharing Center"
  2. Choose "Setup a connection or Network"
  3. Choose "Manually connect to a wireless network", click "Next"
  4. In the dialogbox:

  5. Choose Change connection settings when successfully added eduroam
  6. Click "Settings"
  7. Click "Configure"
  8. Click "Advanced settings"
  9. When a baloon "Additional information is required to connect to eduroam" pops up, click and enter your username (e.g. nisse@kth.se) and the network secret you retrieved from here.
Leave the domain field empty. Click "OK".
  10. If it does not work straight away then restart you computer or switch off and on WiFi.

Check your IP address configuration. Should be set to "Obtain an IP address automatically".

    You have now configured eduroam.
