This seems to work directly just entering username and network secret (maybe a few times).
For manual setup, see below.
It might be necessary to check the configuration and follow the setup as mentioned in point 5 in section "Windows Vista & Windows 7" below.

Instructions for standard microsoft driver
- Open "Network and Sharing Center"
- Choose "Setup a connection or Network"
- Choose "Manually connect to a wireless network", click "Next"
In the dialogbox:
- Network name (SSID): eduroam
- Security type: WPA2-Enterprise
- Encryption type: AES, click "Next".
- Choose Change connection settings when successfully added eduroam
- Choose "AES" as Encryption type
- Choose "Microsoft: Protected EAP" as Network authentication method
- Click "Settings"
- Check the box "Connect to these servers" and type radius-wpa-1.lan.kth.se in the box.
- Check the box "Validate server certificate"
- Find "AddTrust External CA Root" in the list of certificate authorities and check the box next to it.
- Choose "Secured password (EAP-MSCHAP v2)" as Authentication Method
- Click "Configure"
- Uncheck "Automatically use my Windows logon name and password (and domain if any). Click "OK""
- Click "OK" to finish configuration of "Protected EAP Properties"
- Click "Advanced settings"
- Under tab "802.1x settings": Check "Specify authentication mode" and select "User authentication"
- Under tab "802.11 settings": Uncheck "Enable Pairwise Master Key (PMK) caching"
- Click "OK"
- Click "OK" to finish configuration of "eduroam Wireless Network Properties"
- When a baloon "Additional information is required to connect to eduroam" pops up, click and enter your username (e.g. nisse@kth.se) and the network secret you retrieved from here.
Leave the domain field empty. Click "OK".
If it does not work straight away then restart you computer or switch off and on WiFi.
Check your IP address configuration. Should be set to "Obtain an IP address automatically".
You have now configured eduroam.
